About Patagonia
Patagonia’s mission is deceivingly simple: Build the best product, and use business to inspire and implement solutions to the environmental crisis. The Ventura, California-based company started making climbing gear for Yosemite dirtbags in the ‘60s and has gone on to make some of the most durable jackets & outerwear, baselayers, and puffies out there. Their environmental ethic runs strong—they are conscientious of keeping rivers and oceans clean, and protecting our winters. What’s more, like evo, they’re committed to what they call the “silent sports:” climbing, skiing, snowboarding, surfing, and fishing.
evo’s own cause, helping underserved children, grew in-part from being inspired by Patagonia and following their lead. We love their products, and we love their commitment to lightening our footprint on the places we play.
From dam removal to preserving wilderness areas, Patagonia often leads the charge on many contemporary environmental issues by documenting and raising awareness through film projects like DamNation or Jumbo Wild.
Patagonia embodies evo’s core value of Evolucion, always striving to make products better and greener from
Patagonia ski jackets to their
bags and backpacks. They’ve redesigned Capilene® baselayers to incorporate fabrics that keep you warmer, less sweaty and more comfortable, all while using more recycled materials than ever before. They’re using
Polygiene® anti-microbial technology, so you’ll stink less, too. Patagonia jackets and outerwear are built to face the elements and incorporates GORE-TEX® or their own H2No® waterproof breathable technology. Everything Patagonia makes, from dresses to
men’s jackets and
women’s jackets, is built to be durable, functional, and stylish.
